BSCS Industry Tour | 2025

Foundever, formerly Sitel Group, is a global leader in customer experience solutions, using AI, cloud, and data analytics to serve top brands worldwide. Students toured the facility and joined discussions with the operations and IT teams, learning about customer journey mapping, digital transformation, data privacy, agile practices, and cybersecurity.

The visit also featured a briefing by Ms. Zoe Diaz De Rivera from IBPAP, the industry association for IT-BPM in the Philippines. She highlighted current trends, job opportunities, and the sector's role in employing over 1.7 million Filipinos as of 2024. Students were encouraged to build strong digital portfolios and develop critical thinking and adaptability to prepare for industry careers.

The visit was hosted by Atty. Yves Gonzalez, Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google PH. He gave an inspiring talk on Google's mission, its leadership in global innovation, and the role of AI in powering services like Search, Translate, and Assistant. He also discussed Google's efforts in digital inclusion, public-private partnerships for digital skills, and the importance of ethical tech governance. Atty. Gonzalez encouraged us to align their skills and passions with careers that make a positive impact.
